Privacy Policy
This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information, including the health information you share when you use our service.
Information we collect
We collect the information you give us when you create an account, complete a consultation or health questionnaire, book an appointment, place an order or contact us. This includes:
- Identity and contact details, such as your name, date of birth, email address, phone number and delivery address.
- Health information, such as your medical history, current medicines, allergies, and the answers you give in consultations.
- Order and payment details. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, and we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical information, such as your IP address, device and how you use our website.
How we use your information
We use your information to assess whether a treatment is suitable for you, to supply and deliver medicines and other products, to keep accurate pharmacy and clinical records, to take payment, to contact you about your order or care, and to meet our legal and regulatory duties.
We only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
Our legal basis
We process your information to carry out our contract with you, to comply with our legal obligations as a regulated pharmacy, and for our legitimate interests in running a safe and secure service. Health information is special category data, and we process it to provide healthcare and manage healthcare services, and with your explicit consent where that is needed.
Who we share it with
We share your information only where it is needed to provide your care or run the service. This can include the prescribers and clinicians involved in your treatment, your GP where appropriate and with your agreement, delivery couriers, our payment and technology providers, and regulators or public bodies where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep pharmacy and clinical records for as long as professional and legal requirements say we must, and we delete or anonymise information we no longer need.
Keeping your information safe
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls and staff confidentiality obligations.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete or restrict its use in some circumstances, to object to certain processing, and to receive your information in a portable format. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above.
Cookies
We use cookies that are essential to keep the site working, such as keeping you signed in and your basket in place. Where we use optional analytics or marketing cookies, we ask for your consent first.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
